1. What is Double Jersey Fabric?
Double jersey fabric is a weft-knitted fabric produced using two sets of needles on a double jersey circular knitting machine (also called interlock machine). It has two layers of fabric knitted together, making it thicker, more stable, and less stretchy than single jersey.

4. Knitting Technique

Needle Arrangement: Two needle beds — cylinder (vertical) and dial (horizontal)

Yarn Feeders: 2 or more yarn feeders (can go up to 72 or more for fine gauges)

Machine Gauges: Commonly 18G, 24G, 28G, 32G

Yarn Types: Cotton, Polyester, Rayon, Modal, or blends (with or without Lycra)

Loop Formation: Each course involves synchronized intermeshing loops from front and back needle beds.

5. Cam Setting
The cam setting determines the movement of the needles and loop formation.
