What is Single Jersey Fabric ?
Single Jersey is a weft-knitted fabric made using a single set of needles. It's one of the most common and versatile knit fabrics, typically lightweight, soft, and stretchy, with one smooth side (face) and one looped side (back).
Applications: T-shirts, underwear, dresses, babywear, lightweight sportswear

Types of Single Jersey Fabric
1.   100% Cotton Single Jersey
Soft, breathable, and natural feel. Ideal for everyday casualwear.
2.   Cotton-Polyester Blend Jersey
Offers better durability, wrinkle resistance, and moisture-wicking. Great for multi-functional garments.
3.   Viscose / Modal Jersey
Exceptionally smooth and drapey with a luxurious texture. Commonly used in fashionwear.
4.   Spandex / Elastane Jersey (Lycra Jersey)
Contains added stretch (usually 5–10%) for better flexibility. Perfect for activewear and fitted clothing.
5.   Slub Jersey
Made with slub yarn for a naturally textured and slightly uneven surface. Offers a casual look.
6.   Melange Jersey
Created from blended or mixed-color yarns to achieve a soft, heathered appearance.
7.   Organic Jersey
Made from certified organic cotton. A sustainable and eco-friendly fabric option.

The GSM of single jersey varies based on fabric purpose:
120–150 gsm   Lightweight – Ideal for summer T-shirts, undergarments
160–180 gsm   Medium weight – Standard for casual T-shirts
180–220 gsm   Heavier – Premium T-shirts, polos, fashionwear
220–280 gsm   Heavy – Sweatshirts, structured tops (less common in single jersey)

SKS-SJ4 can add the kit ( 20g Fleece invisible three thread ) for exchangeable. This machine can knit 24g/28g jersey fabric, also, it can knit 20g fleece three thread fabric ( fish scale fabric, drill flannelette, especially raw silk fleece, snow canvas, dobby fleece fabric & other complicated fabric)

1. SKS-SJ4, Single Jersey Circular Knitting Machine is designed with the best heat dispersion material, Machine user the world famous needle brand – GERMAN Groz Beckert with high superior quality Japan Fuji inverter and solid Control Panel, all solid parts with excellent quality!

2. SKSJ4. It can monitor the working condition of the machine and record the knitting data so that the operator clear ware of the knitting condition to keep the machine in its superior function and running.

3. SKS-SJ4, The machine designed with four tracks cams on cylinder and central stitch systems, which is designed to knit all kinds of single jersey fabrics (sanded single, ringed, lycra ringed single, boucle single, Pique, Lacoste, Swimwear, silvery single jersey and more). Fabric density & fabric structure can be precise slightly adjusted easily!

4. Central Stitch Adjust device is the standard for all #SKS-SJ4 series. Excellent design with superior alloy material of cams and cam box which provides more maneuverability by the arrangement of cams and needles.
